1. Schedule a Notification
Have you got an event approaching that you would like to ensure the community is notified about closer to the time? Schedule a notification - post the information now but choose a time and date for your community receive a push notification to remind them about it!
2. Create an eNewsletter
eNewsletter solution saves time and effort in designing newsletters with it's modular format . There is no advertising within the SkoolBag eNewsletter and you are unlimited to the number of newsletters you can publish.
3. Setup Closed Groups
Closed Groups are great for Staff communications (or any group where you want to restrict access). They can also be used to preview and draft updates before publishing or copying to other groups.
4. Sync events - Connect your Calendar
Plan for the year ahead and help your community keep in the loop of key dates for public holidays and other annual events. By syncing your school calendar you'll save time and ensure everyone is up to date.
5. Empower your community with Group Managers
Select Parents and Teachers to be Group Managers so they can post content to the community. Share the responsibility of updating the community so that you reduce the bottle-neck effect on your Administration and Communications team.
6. Free yourself from the Desktop - Post an Entry From the App
Admins, Restricted Admins and Group managers now have the ability to post directly from the SkoolBag mobile app, so for communications that need to sent on the spot, for example, weather updates for sporting events - there is no need to wait until you are at your desk, you can now update the community on the go.
7. Ensure everyone sees your updates - Install the widget on the website
Including the SkoolBag web widget on your school's website, will increase awareness of your school's use of SkoolBag and encourage them to download the SkoolBag mobile app. In addition, it provides another way for those who need it to access the information your school posts to the SkoolBag mobile app through your school's website.
